A magnitude 6.2 earthquake was reported 66 km NNE of Angoram, Papua New Guinea, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake occured Thursday 5th September 2024 03:03 GMT and struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
It is not likely this earthquake caused significant damage.
