A magnitude 6.2 earthquake was reported 36 km W of Puerto Santa, Peru, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake occured Sunday 28th December 2025 03:51 GMT and struck at a depth of 66 kilometers.
It is not likely this earthquake caused significant damage.
