Strong earthquake shakes near Yujing, Taiwan

A magnitude 6 earthquake was reported 82 km ESE of Yujing, Taiwan, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake occured Wednesday 24th December 2025 10:47 GMT and struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
It is not likely this earthquake caused significant damage.
